Can I set a minimum number of people?

Yes. You choose the minimum and how many hours before it's decided. If it isn't reached by then, the outing cancels itself, everything paid is refunded and each person gets an email.

How do people know where to meet?

You write the meeting point's address and paste the Google Maps link. It appears on the hike's page, in the confirmation and in the reminder the day before.

Can I repeat the same hike every week?

Yes. You schedule it once with the days of the week and the time, up to 6 months ahead, and each date has its own spots.

Can I ask for an emergency contact?

Yes. You add questions to the booking (emergency phone, fitness, allergies) and a waiver that must be accepted to book.

What happens before every outing

Today: Someone signs up by message and doesn't pay until the last day.
With Outvia: Each spot is paid at booking. No payment, no spot.
Today: On Friday you still don't know if Sunday's hike is on.
With Outvia: You set a minimum and when to decide. If it isn't reached, Outvia cancels, refunds and tells everyone.
Today: It fills up and ten more people message you.
With Outvia: They join the waitlist. If someone cancels, the spot is offered in turn.
Today: You tell everyone, one by one, where to meet and what to bring.
With Outvia: The day before, they get a reminder with the meeting point and what to bring.

In Latin America you get paid through PayPal: PayPal takes its fee when you're paid and Outvia only takes the difference up to 15%, so you keep the same.
